ABOUT THE HONORARY CONSUL The Honorable Michael Chan
Michael was appointed Honorary Consul by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia in December 2010 and served through July 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona. The US Department of State accredited his re-appointment to San Diego County, California & Clark County, Nevada in August 2018. Consul Chan has held leadership positions in government, non-profit and the private sector. He has also volunteered for law enforcement agencies and various boards and commissions. He is fluent in English, Chinese and Spanish.
